Zahr is an ensemble created by Italian pianist Francesco Turrisi and percussionist Andrea Piccioni. The primary focus of Zahr is the influence that arabic music has had in many countries touched by the Mediterranean Sea. Zahr combines Italian traditional music, Arabic and Turkish music with contemporary European jazz. This special CD launch concert will feature Iraqi oud virtuoso Khyam Allami and the  captivating Italian traditional singer Lucilla Galeazzi
